Although deflation occurred in Azerbaijan in June with the impact of the seasonal factors, annual inflation continued to rise due to the base effect, APA-Economics reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The 0.1% deflation in June is due to a 1% drop in food prices. Analyzes show that in June of the current year, the lowest rate of deflation in the last 10 years took place.
