The Azerbaijani national team played its next match today, APA reports.

Azerbaijan's national team has started the second round of the League of Nations.

In the first three games, Gianni de Biasi's team, longing not only for victory but also for the goal, faced Belarus. The meeting of the group outsiders was of great importance for the fate of the last stage.

Although he did not lag behind his opponent in the quality of the game in all the matches, our national team, which could not achieve its goal, managed to please the fans in the match at Dalga Arena. Our team, which could not break the opponent's resistance in the first half, won its first victory in the group only in the last minutes thanks to the balls of Mahir Emreli and Ramil Sheydayev and rose to the third place in the tournament table. This was also the first goal of our team in the tournament.
