Manchester City FC revealed on Friday that two of its players and two staff members have tested positive for the COVID-19, and will enter a period of self-isolation, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Striker Gabriel Jesus and defender Kyle Walker are players who have been infected with the coronavirus. The duo will miss the club's next two football matches, one against Newcastle and the other versus Everton.
"Everyone at the Club wishes our colleagues a speedy recovery over the Christmas period ahead of their return to work, training and competition," City's statement concluded.
