“The Republic of Azerbaijan, which proved itself as a responsible and reliable partner in the international arena, also contributed to international efforts on the fight against COVID-19 pandemic,” says a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the results of 2020, APA reports.

It was noted that Azerbaijan has provided $ 10 million in voluntary financial assistance to the World Health Organization, as well as humanitarian and material assistance to ISESCO and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), as well as more than 30 countries. "It is no coincidence that the World Health Organization has called Azerbaijan an exemplary country in the fight against the pandemic.
