Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE PA not to attend meeting of organization tomorrow

Meeting of the OSCE PA Bureau and the OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting will be held tomorrow – on December 4, in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, Azerbaijani MP, Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Azay Guliyev stated, APA reports.

He stated that Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE PA will not attend the meeting of the organization tomorrow: "As you know, yesterday – on December 2 a decision was adopted on the dissolution of Azerbaijan’s Parliament and determination of early elections in Milli Majlis and Azerbaijani President was appealed in regard with this. Mr. President has appealed to Constitutional Court whether the dissolution of Milli Majlis and holding early elections are in accordance with the Constitution or not. The Constitutional Court will adopt a decision on this appeal tomorrow. All of these create a base for postponing our foreign visits and engaging in elections and other issues, including the main agenda of the country. It is a normal practice and a normal case that parliament members directly focus on domestic policy and issues related to elections on the case of dissolution of parliament in every place of the world.”
