“Currently very tense situation has arisen in Armenia. Taking into account that the Armenian PM does not attend our meeting, I will not comment on anything more. I said only dry facts very few percentages what happened there. Absolutely without any intention to interfere in the internal political processes in Armenia, I would like to say only that destroyed army is not established by Pashinyan, it is an army created by Kocharyan and Sarkisian during 20 years,” said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev while speaking about the results of the war at the meeting of the heads of CIS countries, APA reports.
The head of the state noted that our cities- Agdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli and others were not destroyed by Pashinyan’s army, he did not give such instructions.
“First of all, there was nothing left to destroy. All of these had been done by the regime of Kocharyan and Sarkisian- our such named former colleagues in the CIS, the people attending our meetings during 20 years, the people who have been negotiating with me for many years. We knew that their hands were stained with the blood of the Azerbaijani people, but when we came to those territories we saw all the horror, all the tragedy what they had committed. Therefore, now, those who trying to use the situation for their own political purposes and trying to attack Pashinyan should understand that it had not been done by his army. He could not find time and practically would not be able to create an army, it would take time, but for 20 years this army was created by Kocharyan and Sargsyan, and we destroyed their army,” stressed Azerbaijani President.
