Head of Jordan-Azerbaijan Friendship Committee, senator Marvan Abdulhalim an-Namr Al-Hamud strongly criticized the provocations conducted by the Armenian armed forces on the state border in the direction of the Tovuz region of Azerbaijan, State Committee on Work with the Diaspora told APA.

Head of Jordan-Azerbaijan Friendship society Zumrud Dadashova said that the statement issued by the senator strongly condemned the fact that the Armenian armed forces fired artillery shells at military facilities and settlements near the state borders of Azerbaijan and killed Azerbaijani servicemen and civilians.

Extending deep condolences to the families of the martyrs and all of the Azerbaijani people, the senator wished the wounded quick recovery.

He once again brought into notice that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, recognizes Nagorno Garabagh as an ancient land and an integral part of Azerbaijan. Senator Marvan Abdulhalim an-Namr Al-Hamud also added that Jordan-Azerbaijan Friendship Committee chaired by him will always support Azerbaijan’s position.

The senator called on occupant Armenia to end military aggression and not to create tension in the region.
