“I do not know which media agency Fuad Abbasov represents. I consider this issue not as an Azerbaijani journalist, but as Azerbaijani citizen’s issue”, said Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov in press conference, APA reports.
He noted that after F.Abbasov’s residence permit duration expired, he did not inform the relevant agencies: “This is a harsh violation of law. Deportation of people who illegally reside in other countries is not a rare issue. It has only involved the attention of media”.
