“There is no information about the exact date of the meeting. We welcome the Moscow meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and pleased with the statement sounded there. We impatiently wait to continue the dialogue”, said US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Earle Litzenberger who commented on the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia, ONA reports.
He stated that USA is one of the co-chairs of OSCE: “The purpose of OSCE and Minsk group co-chairs is to bring conflict sides of Nagorno Karabakh conflict together to reach peaceful resolution”.
He noted that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be based on the principles of international law – the principles of non-use of force, territorial integrity of the countries and the principles of self-determination of nations.
