Azerbaijan put an end to occupation, now we have chance to explore new opportunities - FM

"In the first years of its independence, Azerbaijan faced difficulties and, most importantly, the fact of occupation," said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov in the round table dedicated to the strategic negotiations in the Aghdam city in order to discuss the important process and initiatives, leading approaches in the cooperation of UN and the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

"This occupation did not allow full use of the potential of Azerbaijan and the region. However, as a result of the Second Karabakh War in 2020, this fact of occupation was ended and the territories of Azerbaijan were liberated, now we have a chance to explore and fully use new opportunities," said Bayramov.
