"Azerbaijan's position on the delimitation of borders is very simple," said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the press conference jointly held with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Baku, APA reports.
"I would not characterize the situation as very bad or very good. We look at the situation with cautious optimism", said the FM.
According to him, looking at the situation a year before, there are many positive factors in the certain issues at present.
The minister announced the unacceptable scenario at the negotiations for Baku: "But we would never want this dynamic to take the form of "one step forward, two steps back," as the famous work says. Athough the decisions are made with difficulty, they must be consistent and sustainable in a positive plan".
