On May 15, Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili, who is on a visit to our country, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
Shalva Papuashvili's participation in the special meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was highly appreciated.
Satisfaction was expressed with the expansion of cooperation based on mutual trust and strengthening of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
The role of parliaments in the comprehensive development of relations between the two countries was appreciated.
At the same time, prospects for expanding relations in trade-economic, energy, transport-transit, humanitarian and other fields were discussed.
