"Baku will host Youth Summit of Non-Aligned Movement," said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov, APA reports.
Deputy FM has noted that a major percentage of young generation of the world lives in developing countries and these countries are members of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Elnur Mammadov has reminded that the youth faced different difficulties and the situation worsened due to the COVID-19 pandemic further. He has stressed the role of the NAM in this period and has noted that the organization has tried to support these countries.
"Azerbaijan supports UN targets, especially targets regarding the youth," Minister noted.
