British journalist: Police failed in their duty during the attack by radical on Azerbaijani Embassy

"I believe the police response was too late and insufficient and that they failed in their duty during the attack by radical on Azerbaijani Embassy," said British journalist Neil Watson told the British bureau of APA.

He said that police, as a government agency, has a duty of care to all those who live and work in the UK.

"It also is responsible for protecting all Embassies and diplomats, particularly as Embassies represent their countries, and this was effectively an attack on Azerbaijan. I believe the police response was too late and insufficient and that they failed in their duty.

Despite the possibility of this Husseinian group being instigated by third parties, this also indicates that the intelligence services are complacent about Islamic terrorism and also failed in that regard," the journalist stated.
