The opening ceremony of the conference "Shusha declaration and 30th anniversary of Azerbaijani-Turkish diplomatic relations" has been held in Baku, APA reports.

The event was organized by the Center for Analysis of International Relations.

The chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations Farid Shafiyev said that there are military, political, and humanitarian issues arising from Shusha declaration: “Strategic cooperation between two fraternal countries has always existed. And Shusha declaration is one of the important steps taken in this field.”

According to him, the geopolitical situation is complicated in the region: “The situation makes it necessary to further strengthen our relations with Turkey.”

F. Shafiyev noted that a new vision is needed for regional cooperation: “There are some difficulties regarding 3+3 format because Georgia stated that it will not participate in this format. We should think in which format we can cooperate with all countries.”
