Farid Shafiyev, chairman of the Center for International Relations Analysis (AIR Center) has commented on the statement of Secretary of Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan on the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Karabakh, Farid Shafiyev told APA.
According to him, with this, the Armenian side has admitted that it did not actually implement the tripartite statement.
Chairman of AIR Center has drawn attention to the coincidence of the statement of Armen Grigoryan with the speech of President Ilham Aliyev at the meeting dedicated to the results of the first half of this year: "President Ilham Aliyev did not only warn Armenia, President also touched upon activity of Russian peacekeeping forces. Because they created the condition for it. Maybe, Russian peacekeeping forces have pressure on Armenia on this issue. Maybe, the issue is resolved via namely Russia. But it is beneficial to wait. Let's see how Armenia will implement it. That is why we should still review the situation and see how the issue will be implemented."
