President of Arab Parliament: Heydar Aliyev paid a special attention for development of relations between Azerbaijan and Arab states

“Today, we mark the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, who founded modern Azerbaijan, and laid the foundation of its successes,” said the President of Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdulrahman al-Asumi at the special meeting of the Milli Majlis dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, APA reports.

According to him, thanks to the services of Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan took its rightful place in the world community: “Heydar Aliyev paid special attention to the development of relations among Azerbaijan and Arab states. It is not a coincidence that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was the first organization that Azerbaijan became a member of. On behalf of the Arab Parliament, I would like to note that we will do our utmost for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Arab states. The traces of great leaders will always remain in history, people will remember them. Heydar Aliyev will always remain in history and in the memory of his people.”
