Azerbaijani journalist, the head of Khural Internet TV Avaz Zeynalli, and lawyer Elchin Sadigov were sentenced to 4 months of preventive detention, APA reports.
The presentation regarding the selection of pretrial detention measures against them was considered in the Binagadi District Court.
According to the decision, Avaz Zeynalli and Elchin Sadigov were charged with Article 311.3.3 (taking a large amount of bribe) of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 4 months in prison.
It should be noted that Avaz Zeynalli and Elchin Sadigov were detained by the prosecutor's office yesterday.
Law enforcement organs conducted searches at their homes and offices.
