“We highly appreciate allocating AZN 2.2 billion from the budget for restoration of liberated territories from occupation. Allocation of funds in this direction is considered in the next years,” Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship Tahir Mirkishili said at the meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament held today, APA reports.
T. Mirkishili noted that businessmen, entrepreneurs living abroad are applying them, deputy partners, and expressing their willingness to support these issues: "Analysing thoughts, sounded at discussions here, we think that establishment of a separate Fund to this end would improve financing and control mechanisms. Forming assets of the Fund at the expense of not only budget, but also support of entrepreneurs and possible grants from international organizations can be important support to the works, to be conducted. We think that realization of spent funds from one source can simplify procedures and increase transparency much more."
Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova said that government members will comment on this issue.
