A one-time flight from Baku to JFK New York will be carried out, Embassy of the United States of America in the Republic of Azerbaijan said, APA reports.

The flight will be realized on the morning of June 8.

Payments for tickets will be done online through individually generated links: "For your information, we are giving U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (LPRs or greencard holders) priority for this flight. In order for us to confirm you on the flight and get your name on the manifest, please send an email AS SOON AS POSSIBLE with the following information for ALL TRAVELERS in your party to [email protected]: Full Name, Date of birth, Passport number, Passport expiry date, Legible scan of your passport (we anticipate a large number of responses to this request, so for our sake, please keep the file size under 1MB, if possible), For LPRs only: a legible scan of your greencard, Email, Local contact phone number.

If you know of any U.S. citizens or LPRs who may be interested in this opportunity, please forward this message to them. Please ask them to respond to [email protected] with the information requested above. This may be the only opportunity to get to the United States until July, or perhaps longer.

Once we have generated a manifest, all passengers will receive an email with an individual link to pay for reserved seats. We will provide exact flight departure and arrival information as soon as it is available," reads the information.
