Azerbaijan can switch to advanced technologies in medicine in a couple of years, Professor Morteza Gharib, Director of the Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies (CAST) at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) told APA-Economics.

Earlier, addressing the 13th IEEE International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT2019), Morteza Gharib showed his presentation entitled “Advanced Wireless Healthcare and Monitoring Systems” on the technologies which applied in medicine and allow identify cardiovascular diseases before they create incurable sequelae.

In addition, Gharib noted the importance of bringing these technologies to people and the ways to do it.

It should be noted that AICT 2019 which has kicked off today, will continue its work until October 25. The conference is dedicated to the legacy of the outstanding scientist Lotfi Zadeh.
