“Within the framework of bilateral agreements Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has allocated funds for reconstruction and expansion of the 24-kilometer highway between the border crossing points "Samur" and "Khanoba" to four lanes, as well as the reconstruction of the "Khanoba" customs point,” said Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister, the chairman of the Commission by Azerbaijani side Shahin Mustafayev at the meeting with Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, Chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation Abdulmuslum Abdulmuslumov, APA reports.
It was noted that the construction works of the "Khanoba" customs point bordering the "Tahirkand-Gazmalar" departure point in the territory of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation are nearing completion.
