Taliban insurgents attacked the motorcade of Afghanistan's First Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum on Saturday, killing his bodyguard, ONA reports citing TOLOnews.
A convoy of the First Vice President Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum was ambushed by the Taliban “few times” on their way from Balkh to Jawzjan province in the north of Afghanistan, Kanishka Turkistani, a close aide to Dostum, confirmed.
He said that Vice President was not hurt in the attacks.
One bodyguard of the first vice president was killed and two others were wounded.
