“Results of the war remain unchanged and will remain. The statement signed on November 10 is being implemented and should be fully implemented,” said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the press conference held in a video format for local and foreign journalists, APA reports.
The head of state said that most of the provisions of the statement have already been implemented: "But there are issues that are now under discussion. I hope that despite the situation in Armenia, the statement signed on November 10 will be implemented. Otherwise, Armenia will find itself in an even more difficult situation. The choice for Armenia is not so many. They must come to terms with new realities and reckon. We have created new realities. For 30 years, international organizations dealing with this issue, as well as individual countries have been sending us open or unofficial messages that there is a reality that Azerbaijan is a defeated party in the war. You reconcile with reality and try to choose the most acceptable option for yourself from this reality. That is, between the worst option and the worst option. And, as you know, we have always rejected such calls. And we did not take a step back from our position. And I stated it openly. And now I say that a new reality has emerged, and we have created this reality. Armenia and all other countries must come to terms with this reality. Armenia now has several options. And the most acceptable choice for Armenia is to implement the provisions of the November 10 statement. Otherwise, they may face even greater problems."
