“As a result of Armenia’s aggression upon the Azerbaijani territories, Nagorno Garabagh and 7 adjacent regions were occupied. Armenia implemented an ethnic cleansing policy on these territories”, said Azerbaijan’s minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov during the joint press conference held together with his Georgian counterpart David Zalkaliani, APA’s local bureau reports.
He noted that Armenian leadership is making statements that serve to inflame the situation in the region: “Our approach is based on international norms, requires implementation of decisions and approaches of the UN and other organizations. I think the states should put an end to occupational policy for peace in the region, the internally displaced people should return to their homes. Our goal is to serve for the progress and development of the region. The projects implemented by us serve just for this area”.
