The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today signed an Order awarding Azerbaijani athletes and coaches for the highest results at the European Youth Olympic Festival held in Baku, APA reports citing the Presidential press service.
According to the order, Azerbaijani athletes and their coaches performing highest results at the European Youth Olympic Festival held in Baku were awarded the following amount:
- each athlete who won the first place – 10,000 manats, his or her coach – 5,000 manats;
- each athlete who took the second place – 7,000 manats, his or her coach – 3500 manats;
- each athlete who took the third place – 5000 manats, his or her coach – 2500 manats;
- senior coaches of national teams - in the amount awarded to the coach whose athlete showed the best result;
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan should resolve the issues arising from the order.
