A provocation was committed against Azerbaijan in two-state channels of Russia, APA’s correspondent in Moscow reports.
A clear provocation was committed against the territorial integrity, in general statehood of Azerbaijan, threats to our state were sounded in the broadcasts of "Russia 1" and Channel One (Perviy Kanal) on March 28.
Deputy Chair of the Economic Policy Committee of the Russian State Duma, MP Mikhail Delyagin overstepped the limit and called Azerbaijan a “proxy state” in a “60 minutes” political talk show broadcasted on “Russia 1” Channel. The latest situation that emerged in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan was touched upon in the show, dealing with Russia’s war against the fraternal Slavic state of Ukraine. Azerbaijan was accused of violating the ceasefire in Karabakh, not following articles of the trilateral statement. Delyagin, who is a member of a pro-Armenian fraction of Duma “Just Russia”, overstepped further and called Azerbaijan a real danger to Russia.
“Azerbaijanis really violated the ceasefire. Ours noted that Azerbaijan retreated from the positions, in which they took control. But Azerbaijan officially declared that they had not retreated anywhere. Look, US satellites, aggression, and “Turkish proxy” conducted by Turkiye in the current case, which we call a state (considers Azerbaijan – red) is a real danger today. If we do not unequivocally punish Azerbaijan for this… Why do we need the oil-gas industry of Azerbaijan? We do not need it. If people do not understand a word, then it must be explained by concrete action. If we do not do it, we will not exist, do you understand?! The issue should only be set in such a form now,” noted overstepping MP.
In the broadcasting, it was slandered our country again by connecting the restoration of positions by Azerbaijan in Azerbaijan's ancient land, Farrukh village of Khojaly with the statement of Alexey Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council "A second front must be opened against Russia". Expressing the theses on the Armenian telegram channels on the air of the "Russia 1" channel, the Russian MP showed what and who he is actually serving.
Provocation of the Russian media has not ended with the "Rossiya 1" channel. The theme of Azerbaijan has been continued in the talk show hosted by the pro-Armenian Artem Shein on the "Perviy" channel. This time, Mikhail Delyagin took the stage and skillfully replaced Vladimir Zhirinovsky who is on the verge of death but can not die at least, with his pro-Armenian and "political clown" appearance.
Deylagin who is the head of the economic policy part of the Russian parliament has threatened that Russia can destroy Azerbaijan's oil industry: "Azerbaijan's business that depends on the Russian economy may blow in one day. Azerbaijan's oil industry is highly localized in terms of the area and may lose its existence within 15 minutes. Because proxy does not understand in another way. Independent countries may understand, but proxy does not. The proxy does not have a function to understand this independently. It is impossible to talk in another way in the modern world", pro-Armenian MP.
"Probably you must be Deylagin in order to understand the logic of the deputy who said "What do we need Azerbaijan's oil industry for ”. Why should Delyagin or Russia need Azerbaijan's oil industry? Both oil and oil industries belong to Azerbaijan. The sooner Delyagin and people like him, who still have "USSR dreams", return to real life, the better for them.
He did not satisfied with foolish statements on state television, but also conducted an absurd poll on the telegram channel calling for a nuclear strike on Azerbaijan's oil industry. It is true that the majority of respondents believe that a nuclear strike on Azerbaijan is unacceptable, but such an idea, and holding a survey is not the product of common sense.
In fact, these statements prove that Delyagi is a "proxy deputy" and has become a hostage of pro-Arminianism.
Provocations against Azerbaijan on Russia's state-funded federal channels are nothing new. We have witnessed the same approach many times during and before the 44-day Karabakh war. However, the "political madness" aired yesterday on "Russia 1" and "Perviy" channels against the background of the fact that Roskomnadzor blocked a number of Azerbaijani media outlets due to the balanced coverage of the war in Ukraine, raises the issue of suspending the broadcasting of Russian media outlets in Azerbaijan, which has been provoking our country for a long time. If Azerbaijani news portals that cover the events in Ukraine and Russia's official position without comment and unbiased are blocked in Russia, why shouldn't the Russian federal channels, which call our state a "proxy" and threaten to destroy our oil industry, be blocked in Azerbaijan?
It is clear that political clowns like Delyagin made such bizarre statements based on instructions received from Armenians. What is surprising and unfortunate is the position of Russian state channels. Don't they really understand that such statements are serving to damage relations of Turkey and Azerbaijan with Russia, which are now facing the whole world?
