All schools to be provided with small station regarding COVID-19 in Azerbaijan

“There is not a medical room in every school. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the provision of free medical care for children at school belongs to the polyclinics in the area,” said Rustam Aghayev, an adviser to Minister of Education at the online press conference dedicated to the decision about “Temporary rules of organization of teaching and learning and rearing process in educational institutions during the period of the quarantine regime”, APA reports.

He said doctor or nurse from polyclinics is attached to school: "There will be small stations associated with COVID in each school. If there is a problem related to the virus in any pupil, he (she) will be placed in an isolation room in schools, the emergency medical aid service will come and make the COVID test, parents will be summoned and the pupil will be sent home on ambulance vehicle. No medical aid regarding COVID has been envisaged in schools".
