BTA addresses to drivers and pedestrians in relation to unfavorable weather in Azerbaijan

“The snow, has being fallen since night, has not caused any problem for the movement of transport means on roads. According to the Center for Intellectual Traffic Management, getting icy has not been observed on roads”, Baku Transport Agency told APA.

Normal movement is observed on bridges and in tunnels: “In relation to snowfall speed limit has been decreased by 60 km/h in Heydar Aliyev Avenue- Airport-Bilgah and Zigh-Airport highways in only night hours. However in the morning the speed limit has been restored.

We ask drivers to be attentive, follow speed limit and take into consideration meteorological factors once more.

As well as we recommend pedestrians to use pedestrian crossings while crossing the road.”
