Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan adopts decision on reception of customers to public catering facilities in pandemic period

According to Article 25 of the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Sanitary and Epidemiological Safety" and the rules of “Rules for taking quarantine organization, prevention and other necessary measures in case of infectious, parasitic and mass the emergence or spread of non-communicable diseases in case of danger” approved by the decision 73-1 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated February 28, 2020, on acceptance of customers to public catering facilities in coronavirus pandemic period, the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

-to approve density norms per capita during the reception of customers to public catering facilities during coronavirus pandemic (attached)

- taking into consideration that that crowd gathering of people during coronavirus pandemic, directly impacts to the spread of intensity of the disease, the reception of the customers should be 2 times few than the norms and rules which are on force and the area determined per capita should be doubled;

- in the food intake halls, the distance between chairs at one table shouldn’t be less than 1 m, while the distance between tables should be less than 2 m;

- the total area of the food intake spaces (halls, rooms, etc.) of that facility, the number of sitting accommodations, the distance between tables, the determined per capita density regulations should be indicated on the board fixed in front of every public catering facility.

The Food Security Agency, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economy and the local executive power agencies should solve the issues arising from this Decision.
