Relevant measures are being taken to ensure social protection and employment of the families of martyred servicemen as a result of gross violations of the ceasefire by Armenian Armed Forces in the direction of Tovuz region of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan told APA.
According to the Ministry, heads of Khatai, Sumgayit, Tovuz, Gazakh, Aghstafa, Bilasuvar, Masalli and Ismayilli city and district branches of the Ministry have met with the families of the martyrs and they were told that they would be supported by the state.
Work has been done to assign monthly pensions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the families of martyrs, as well as monthly benefits to family members who are not entitled to a pension, and appropriate social security payments for the loss of the head of the family.
At the same time, they were informed about state employment services and active employment measures.
