Parasites found in fish and chicken fillets imported from Russia

Anizasis (parasites) were found in the product as a result of the examination of samples taken from frozen poutassou fish imported from Russia to Azerbaijan by "Kompas" Limited Liability Company in the relevant laboratories of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute, Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency told APA.

In this regard, 7320 kg of unusable products were destroyed with the participation of employees of the Agency.

As well as, it was revealed that the batches of products did not meet sanitary-epidemiological rules and norms due to the detection of pathogens, including salmonella, in samples taken from frozen chicken fillet products imported from Russia by Mammadli Azer Tofig oglu. In this regard, 4980 kg of unusable products were destroyed with the participation of employees of the Agency.
