In accordance with an order “On the strengthening of preventive measures against the new 2019-nCoV coronavirus” signed by Azerbaijani Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev, Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology has signed an order to strengthen preventive measures in Azerbaijan, Ziyaddin Kazimov, the head of Department of the Republican Centre of Hygiene and Epidemiology told APA.
According to him, the order has been sent to city, region hygiene and epidemiological centers, Center for hygiene and epidemiology on Water Transport, Center for hygiene and epidemiology on Air Transport, Center for hygiene and epidemiology on Rail Transport.
It was instructed in the order to enhance preventive and disinfection measures against 2019-nCoV coronavirus disease: “Preventive measures will be strengthened in all crowded places.”
When it comes to disinfection in preschool and general educational institutions, Z. Kazimov noted that it had not been determined when these measures would be started: “Additional measures are planned to be implemented in this regard too.”
Ministry of Education said while answering APA’s query that certain measures will be taken with relevant state bodies in relation with the disinfection of educational institutions when it is needed.
