“It has been noted in the speeches of the President of the country that showing global solidarity in vaccine issue is one of the important points,” said Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Issues Department of the Administration at a press conference of Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
He said that Azerbaijan’s main purpose for this was to convene a special session of UN General Assembly: “Vaccine issue is also being discussed in this session. The purchase of which vaccines which have clinically tested, is closely followed by our country. Relevant structures and experts are jointly investigating this issue with foreign experts.”
