TABIB: Not 8-9 mln people infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan, so vaccination is important

"Not 8-9 million people infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan," said Head of the Disease Control and Prevention Department of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) Yagut Garayeva at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Minister, APA reports.

Y. Garayeva said that vaccination is needed to reduce the number of patients at risk, seriously ill, and in intensive care: "Registered, those who infected and recovered lightly, etc. more than 1 million people may be infected with the coronavirus. 8-9 million people are not infected, and there are risk groups among them. Therefore, vaccination is needed."
