World Health Organization released a report on Feb. 28 on cases of coronavirus infection, APA reports.
The overall death toll has reached 2,858 worldwide from the new coronavirus.
According to the information, the first cases of coronavirus infection during the last 24 hours was recorded in Belarus, Lithuania, New Zeland, and Nigeria.
The number of confirmed cases of infection:
Worldwide: 83 652 (1 358 new)
China: 78 961 (331 new);
2 791 deaths (44 new)
Outside China:
4 691 cases of infection (1027 new)
51 countries (5 new);
67 deaths (10 new).
WHO considers coronavirus risk assessment very high in China, very high at the regional level, and very high globally.
