Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran released vide footage of attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran, APA reports.
The footage was recorded by the surveillance cameras of the Azerbaijani embassy.
The footage showed that a person with a "Kalashnikov" comfortably entered the embassy building and opened fire on employees, who was later neutralized by an embassy employee.
It is also clear from the footage that what Tehran's police chief said about the causes of the incident is a lie.
Recall that an armed attack took place on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran on January 27, 2023, at about 8:30 (GMT+4). The attacker destroyed the guard post with a Kalashnikov automatic weapon and killed the head of the security service. Two security guards of the embassy were also injured while preventing the attack.
