Media representatives visited the village of Tugh "in the footsteps of the President," and were informed about the work to be carried out in the village, APA reports.
Ali Zeynalov, the chief adviser of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the territories liberated from occupation included in the Karabakh economic region (with the exception of the Shusha region), told reporters that the completion of construction work is planned for the end of 2025.
Ali Zeynalov noted that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva laid the foundation for a residential area in the village of Tugh. The first residential quarter with a total area of 99 hectares will be built in accordance with the approved General Plan of the village of Tugh. In a residential area designed for 1,089 people, 24 historical private houses will be restored in the first stage and 95 houses will be built. In the next stages, 244 new private houses are planned to be built in the quarter.
A school building for 360 students, a kindergarten for 50 children, shopping centers, a mosque, a church, a medical center, a pharmacy, a sports and recreation complex, and a vegetable and fruit warehouse will be built in the quarter. All conditions for employment of the population will be created in the residential area.
By the end of 2025, it is planned to complete the construction and restoration of a number of buildings in the village of Tugh - an administrative building, a club and community center, a school, a kindergarten, and 15 private houses.
