Two new species of Khari Bulbul found in Zangilan

Two new species of Khari Bulbul were found in Zangilan and added to the 3rd edition of Red Book, the director of Institute of Botany Sayyara Abdullayeva told journalists, APA reports.

According to her, although the destruction of plants in recent times is most often associated with global warming, according to scientists, the main cause is anthropogenic factors: “In particular, plucking the flowers of plants in early spring, plucking them from the root throat, plucking rhizomes from their roots, mass gathering of plants for medicinal purposes have a serious role. Certain measures should be prepared in this regard.”
