US Chargé d'affaires visits ANAMA-PHOTO

Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov met with Mr. Hugo Guevara, US Chargé d'affaires in our country, APA reports.

The ambassador was informed about the agency's creation history, general activity, new goals set after the Second Patriotic War, and the humanitarian demining operations carried out in Karabakh based on the priorities set by the government.

Mr. Hugo Gwera said he highly assessed demining activities carried out in the liberated areas. During the meeting, the sides exchanged ideas on the possible contribution of the USA to ANAMA in the fight against the threat of explosive devices and the expansion of partnership in the direction of creating a safe environment in Karabakh.
