We have thousand-year-old historical monuments in Western Azerbaijan, and we have conducted research on some of these monuments, says Aziz Alakbarli, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Western Azerbaijani Community, MP of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to him, in past, in Western Azerbaijan, we used to have ashuq art and traditions: "These have been lost due to the removal of our people from Western Azerbaijan. We have tangible and intangible spiritual heritage in Western Azerbaijan and we must protect them".
