In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the firefighting forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Turkey continue their firefighting operations professionally in order to extinguish forest fires and prevent their spread, APA reports.
Due to the efforts of our firefighters operating in Marmaris, one of the regions of the Republic of Turkey where forest fires have been spreading for several days, the spread of forest fires has been prevented in many directions.
Currently, the fire brigade of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take the necessary measures to extinguish the fires in accordance with the operational conditions.
It should be noted that under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Lieutenant General Etibar Mirzayev, the Ministry organized a coordinated management of fire and rescue forces in the Marmaris region. The second fire and rescue team sent to Turkey by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations on the instructions of the President will start firefighting operations tomorrow.
