Most of the criminal cases submitted to courts in Azerbaijan in the first half of 2018 are related to the housing and construction sector, Kamran Aliyev, Deputy Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Head of the Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General, APA reports.
He noted that nine criminal cases initiated against 18 persons in this sphere were investigated and sent to courts.
Aliyev added that 18 criminal cases opened against 43 persons working in banks and non-bank credit organizations were sent to courts during the reporting period.
