SOCAR to work for more efficient exploitation of old fields

Acceleration of new oil production projects is logical for SOCAR for reaching the peak of production in coming 10 years, said Deputy Chairman of Public Relations and Events Management Department of SOCAR Ibrahim Ahmadov, APA-Economics reports citing RIA Novosti.

According to him, furthermore, works should also be done on development of alternative and renewable energy sources.

Continuing to optimize and digitalize production, SOCAR will work in the coming years for cheaper (more profitable) and more efficient operation of old onshore fields. This may involve the main part of those fields in the operation”, I. Ahmadov noted.
