302.5 billion cubic meters gas was produced in 2008-2018 in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.
In the last 11 years, the highest production index was recorded in 2018- 30,5 bln cubic meters, while the lowest index was recorded in 2008 (23,4 bln cubic meters).
According to the calculations, gas production in the country has increased by 30,3% in the last 11 years.
The rise of gas production in Azerbaijan associated with the increase of production in the Shah Deniz gas and condensate field.
