Azerbaijan reduces oil and gas production

In January 2018 the production in mining sector amounted to AZN 3 billion, up 1.2% from previous year.

According to State Statistical Committee, the crude oil production made up 3.4 million tonnes, marketable gas production – 1.6 billion cubic meters.

In January 2018, 3,360,700 tonnes of crude oil (including gas condensate) were produced, down 0.2% from a year earlier. As of February 1, 2018 the finished products stood at 253,900 tonnes, of which 3,356,700 tonnes were marketable oil, down 0.2% in comparison to a year ago.

In the reporting period, gas production across the country made up 2,486,800,000 cubic meters, up 0.7% from 2017. Of this, 1,576,600,000 cubic meters was marketable gas, down 5.9% in comparison to a year earlier.
