The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has launched a criminal case regarding the protest actions that held against the visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Syunik province, APA reports citing TASS.
A criminal case has been launched regarding the fact in accordance with Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (hooliganism).
Note that today, N. Pashinyan’s visit to the south of the country, Syunik province has met with the protest. A group of residents demanded that the head of the Armenian government leave the city of Mehri. Clashes broke out between the residents supporting N. Pashniyan and protesters.
