Communities operating in Azerbaijan support the Shusha Declaration

Different communities operating in Azerbaijan welcome the Shusha Declaration signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey on the allied relations in the capital of ancient culture on June 15, 2021, the State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.

Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Congress of Azerbaijan Yuri Osadchenko, chairman of the Mountain Jews community in Baku Milikh Yevdayev, Alexander Sharovsky, head of the European Jewish Community in Baku, chairman of the Georgian Jewish Community of Azerbaijan Rabbi Zamir Isayev have noted in the signed statements that everyone in this country considers the independent country of Azerbaijan as their Homeland, and live in conditions of peace and prosperity: “Our children have fulfilled their moral obligations to their homeland, Azerbaijan, by taking an active part in the liberation of the occupied territories”.

It is noted that the Shusha Declaration has historical and strategical importance in terms of providing long-term peace and stability in the South Caucasus region. All communities operating in Azerbaijan support the Shusha Declaration determining the political-legal mechanisms of the allied relations signed between two countries that pursue an independent policy, and announce that they stand by Azerbaijan”.
