Chairman of the Shusha City State Reserve: “From now, Shusha doors are open to the people of Shusha"

There is a big difference between Shusha six months ago and today's Shusha, renovation works are carried out and several catering facilities are constructed, Maftun Abbasov, chairman of the Board of the Shusha City State Reserve told journalists, APA reports.

M. Abbasov noted that the foundation of the school and mosque has been laid by the President and construction of these will be started soon: "The establishment of the President's Special Representation in Shusha, the Shusha State Reserve Office, the declaration of Shusha as a state reserve, and the signing of the Shusha Declaration between Azerbaijan and Turkey are clear evidence of all this. Mr. President gives special importance to Shusha. Completion work is already underway on ‘Victory Road”.

M. Abbasov noting that Shusha was cleared of unexploded ordnance and mines, said that these works will be completed soon: “These mentioned factors were the main obstacles for coming to Shusha. These obstacles are now removed. From now, the doors of Shusha are open to the people of Shusha. Visits will always be organized here. We will give priority to the older generation in these visits, and then gradually organize the visits of the younger generation”.
