Positive balance of trade turnover of Azerbaijan with Turkey increased nearly 8 times

In January-September of the current year, the volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey was $ 3 354 625,46 thousand which is $ 974 337,85 thousand or 41% more in comparison to the same period of the previous year, according to the calculation of APA Economics based on State Customs Committee reports.

The value of export from Azerbaijan to Turkey during the 9 months of the current year was $ 2 204 517,36 thousand, while import was $1 150 108,10 thousand. As a result, a positive balance of $ 1 054 409,26 thousand formed, which is 7,9 times more in annual comparison.

During the reporting period export increased by 74,8% or $ 947 521,56 thousand, while import increased by 2,4% or $ 26 816,29 thousand in comparison to the related period of the previous year.
